Pure Freedom Co-ed Reteats

Hey just wanted to let you know we just completed our pure freedom retreat, it was so incredible! God is just so good! We have a small church and had 13 girls with 5 adults. We made it a long weekend with break out sessions doing hair and make up - modestly of course - and the girls helped in the kitchen preparing items for our full blown tea party with style show. We loved Dannah's videos. I have been wanting to do this for a long time- just waiting for my daughter to get old enough. A while back I read The Secret Keeper and loved it. Thought we could use it in our retreat. Long story shortened...discovered you already had a retreat plan and loved it!! Figured I would have to change things (because that is what I do :~) to fit in all we wanted to do, but as only God could do, you had every single thing in it we wanted to do- almost exactly as we had desired it!

It was so fun! But the best part is the girls coming and telling me they had changed their whole perspective on sex, dating, etc. My son's "girlfriend" (he's not actually allowed to date) told me she wanted to wait until at least engaged to have first kiss, and that she finally understood why I did not want my kids to date! That and so much more made it so worth it!! In the process it has further encouraged him to want to be pure. Thanks for letting God use you both. We are planning a guys retreat for the Spring probably.

Pure Freedom Youth Retreat
Not Just Another Sex Talk...

The Pure Freedom Youth Event is a co-ed retreat that provides practical "how-to" skills for aggressively developing and maintaining purity. The two-day event targets junior and senior high youth (or college age men and women) and utilizes mentors from your community as small group leaders. This event includes two co-ed worship rallies as well as gender separate teaching times.

God's design for sex and purity is presented through an active curriculum in which small group discussions, individual activities, group games and fun object lessons are utilized. Every session carries a deep scriptural challenge about holiness that touches the attendees on an intimate level.

Costs include a worship band for two fantastic co-ed worship rallies. Participation fee includes And the Bride Wore White, demitasse cup, pearl, and random giveaways for the girls; and Who Moved the Goalpost, 7” football, 5,000 ping pong drop, duct tape, and random giveaways for the guys.
