Girl's Event Team Leader
Laura Booz
From her days as a little girl dancing around the front yard in her mother’s 1960’s lingerie, Laura has come a long way to land a spot on the Pure Freedom speaking team! You’ll have to hear her story at the Pure Freedom Girls event when she discloses her serious fashion struggles and her journey to embrace — and enjoy! -- modesty. Laura loves sharing the story of her own healing from sexual abuse and sin because it gives other women tremendous hope that God is alive, that He cares deeply about our hearts, and that He heals us completely. While earning her B.A. in English Literature and B.S. in Biology at the University of Richmond, Laura never imagined that pursuing her Master’s degree in English Literature at Penn State University would result in her meeting her musician-turned-computer-whiz husband, Ryan, and the loving Church of State College, that would introduce her to the Pure Freedom gang. Laura’s husband, Ryan, has been a continual encouragement to her; together, they talk and pray through the tough and beautiful aspects of life as they hike, bike, or enjoy an evening in front of the chiminea. They are madly in love with their daughter, Vivienne Grace, who is a compassionate and literary 2-year-old puff-ball artist. Be sure to ask for the latest and greatest “Vivienne story” at your next Pure Freedom event!
