The Apostle Paul talks about writing “living letters.” Rather than letters of recommendation for his work, he relied on the fruit in the lives he’d touched to speak to his credibility to be a servant for the King of the Universe. We like that. We’re in the business of writing living letters. Some of ours include:

•about 500 came to know Christ as their Savior at live events just last year.
•over 750,000 were discipled at our events or through our resources.
•75,000 students in Zambia heard a message of abstinence.
•hundreds have been counseled through sexual healing by our team.
•dozens of college and high school girls have served Christ with us.

But in twelve years of ministry, our favorite living letters are the vibrant, pure, passionate wedding stories after years of discipleship and prayers. Here are a few of our favorites:

Why do we do it? Why do we take every call, counsel every broken heart, and speak out against the culture’s adamant cry for free sex? Because we believe that defending the gospel of Jesus Christ demands that we defend the pure and holy marriage bed. Peter Jones a professor at Westminster Seminary says,

“If Christians do not find the courage to address the biblical teaching on sex, they will wake up one day to find themselves and the gospel completely marginalized.”*

You see, it is within the marriage covenant that the world sees a picture of God’s relational, exclusive, and faithful love. The world cannot see Him or His love if we do not live according to the sexual theology that God has written for us. And I need your help to do this. In fact, if I don’t turn around the current financial situation of my ministry I fear I will need to make some drastic decisions especially in regards to Secret Keeper Girl, our tween touring ministry. I believe my team has proven to be a faithful tool of the Lord, and I would like to cease raising money in crisis seasons.

While many ministries our size need about $32,000 or more a month, we feel called to work hard to raise as much as we can through the sale of resources and events so that the donor base we need is small, but at this time we have only three monthly donors who have pledged $800.00 per month. In 2011 we raised our number of monthly donors from a shocking THREE to SEVENTEEN, and we're still counting. Our goal is 200. We need more who feel called to this issue to partner with us. Would you prayerfully consider being one of them?
